In my opinion there is no makeup look that quite matches the traditional cat eye eyeliner. It is glamourous, iconic and flattering to all eye shapes. But there is one problem; it is tricky and sometimes messy to do! Practise can easily perfect this look over time but another secret to achieving a beautiful cat flick is getting the right eyeliner. I always found it so hard to apply liquid eyeliner and this has resorted to me spending hours reading and watching various make-up tutorials.
Earlier this year I was curious about the new Bourjois release, the mega liner. I couldn't resist getting it for my birthday and since then it has been the only thing I've used! My make-up routine wouldn't be complete without it and the angled tip makes it so much easier to apply. The tip allows you to either do a thick or thin line and it is super soft and gentle on my eyelids. The pigment is absolutely amazing. I couldn't believe how ultra black the liquid was and I knew straight away that I would be able to achieve those gorgeous Bardot eyes with this liner! The staying power is incredible and doesn't smudge or crumble away. At first I didn't know how this liner was going to make application any easier but it has definately helped and I can do cat flicks effortlessly. It is my secret to cat eye make-up, the easy way! I don't think I'll ever swap this Bourjois beauty for any other eye liner.
Will you be swapping your favourite eyeliner for the Bourjois Mega Liner?

I'm so glad you mentioned that it's soft on the eye, I thought it was like a rigid nib and looked really painful! After your review I'll definitely go check it out! Ps your eye colour is amazing! http://cottonandcandie.blogspot.co.uk

DeleteJust love this and such a great price too!! I like the pen versions as I find them easier to control and thinner making it great for building up if you prefer a thicker line xx

you should try it! Thank you :) x x x
DeleteFirstly, I love that you're twins! Secondly, I can definitely see the appeal of liquid eyeliner although I've only ever used pencils before. I've tried the Bourjois new mascara and it was good but not quite as good as Lancome Hypnose.. but I'm not surprised that the eyeliner is good! :)

Aw thank you! :) I used only wear pencil too but this liner really is amazing. I find that sometimes Bourjois products are great and then others aren't as good!

This sounds great for someone who really struggles with eyeliner i.e. me! I thought it would only be suitable for doing a really thick line, but it's great that you can apply a thin eyeliner with this too :) xx
