Christmas wouldn't be complete without a MAC lipstick would it? I love MAC makeup but I don't usually buy it during the year. We got Twig and Taupe as a present for this Christmas and we couldn't be happier with them!
TWIG
First up is Twig. Twig is a pink/brown lipstick with a satin finish. This shade is quite similar to MAC's Mehr lipstick. It's a wearable shade and perfect for all year round. It glides on the lips and it doesn't dry them out at all. The staying power is great too and it's so pigmented. As always, I love the smell of MAC lipsticks. They kind of remind me of cake for some reason or vanilla. I've got nothing bad to say about this lipstick, I love it!
TAUPE
Taupe is a matte lipstick and is a dark nude colour. I think every girl that loves a dark nude lipstick will love Taupe. It's the perfect brown shade and it's so pigmented and stays on all day. This lipstick really complements pale skin and any hair colour. As this is a matte lipstick, I was worried it would dry my lips out but this lipstick is actually very moisturizing! I would definitely buy this colour again!
As you can see Twig and Taupe are beautiful colours and so on trend. I would definitely recommend everyone to try these two lipsticks out!

DeleteI love Taupe, I've been meaning to grab it, but I'm not a huge fan of the employees at my local MAC so I avoid it like the plague. But maybe I should just order it online, lol. I first stumbled across it while I was working. This girl I was helping, her lip color was so stunning I pretty much shouted in her face 'Where did you get your lipstick!' lol, luckily she laughed and showed me her tube of Taupe.

MAC is an amazing brand and they prices might be high but I do think it's worth it! The lipsticks are just amazing! They are all I've ever really had from Mac but everyone loves them. x x

I was going to invest in a new MAC lipstick, however ended up buying a very similar one by Clinique whilst coming back from Germany earlier this month, but somehow I have a feeling I'll still end up buying a MAC one as well!!
