Recent Loves!

I swear I'm going to spend all of my money on LUSH products one day! My most recent purchase from Lush is the 'Dark Angels' exfoliating cleansing mask. Gosh, this is just amazing. I was really hating on my skin as I kept on breaking out but 'Dark Angels' really has been a god send. I use this day and night and my skin looks so much better. I recommend this to everyone especially if your skin needs some life put back into it, haha. I also bought a cute little moon choker from Primark in a set, it's cute isn't it?

If you have read this blog before, you will probably know that me and Leah are obsessed with buying lipsticks, especially MAC ones. This one is called 'Studded Kiss'. This shade reminds me of Diva but I actually love 'Studded Kiss' so much better. This is a matte lipstick and it stays put for hours! It also looks amazing paired with my new Max Factor polish.

I love the ogx hair products! I have alot of their products and I love this anti-breakage kertin oil spray. It's amazing and it also smells just as good. It isn't at all heavy on my hair and it doesn't make my hair greasy at all.

What are your favourite products right now? Would you give any of these products a go?

CRAZY COLOUR Review | Pinkissimo

PINK HAIR, DON'T CARE! Yeah, that's right :) Can you believe how beautiful and vibrant this wonderful pinkissimo dye is? It is absolutely stunning and god, I feel like a pink princess, haha. My mum found this for me for £2 in River Island because she knows I love my crazy hair colours. This is actually the first time that I've used Crazy Colour and this shade is called Pinkissimo.

I love my hair vibrant so I just used this straight from the bottle but if you want you can add condioner for pastel pink hair. I washed my hair and conditioned and then literally slapped it on. This dye had applied really even on my hair which is a relief and I only had to use one bottle. Because I have different shades of blonde in my hair, the pink dye has taken to a variety of different shades from light pink to bright pink - I love it!! The formula of the dye is amazing too as it felt just like conditioner! I left this on for half an hour and it easily just washed off. My hair feels really soft and shiny.I think this is the happiest I've ever been with my hair and I literally cannot wait to try every. single. crazy. colour. there. is.

What do you think of the Crazy Colour dyes? Do you think you could brave Pinkissimo?

Wait & Braid | Fishtail Halo Braid

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is having a good day! Finally, the weather here seems to getting warmer. I love Summer and with the sun being out, nothing is more annoying than your hair getting in the way. Introducing the most perfect Spring/Summer Hairstyle, the Fishtail Halo braid. This is such a stunning hairstyle. I've always loved fishtail braids because I think they look so unique and angel-like, especially when the fishtail carries on the whole way around the head to create a halo hairstyle! I won't try explaining this to you because I'm sure I'll make it sound so complicated. I got this style of the amazing Missy Sue. She's my favourite youtube hairstylist and her tutorial video on this braid (x) made achieving this hairstyle so easy!

If you wanted to make the braid look more 'fishtail' instead of a regular braid, just add in thinner strands of hair. This style is one of the more time consuming ones but it's definately worth it. It stays in all day too!

What do you think of this braid?

Easy Braided Updo Hairstyle & OOTD!

What I'm Wearing: CROP TOP, Primark | BLACK TOP, Forever 21 | SHORTS, River Island | BOOTS, River Island | CHOKER, Ebay | BEST BITCHES NECKLACE, Shop Moon Child.

Who would've thought that this beautiful crop was from Primark? The minute I saw it, I knew I needed it for my spring/summer wardrobe! It was only £6 too. The crop top is tye dye and it reminds me of my Urban Outfitters tie dye velvet dress, here. I usually always wear my hair down but I'm making the most of having no roots and trying out lots of beautiful styles. This is a dutch crown braid and I absolutely love it! This style makes me feel like I've just stepped out of Games Of Thrones, haha. I've never watched Games Of Thrones before but I absolutely love Daenerys Targaryen hairstyles!

Do you love tye dye? Do you also love wearing a crown braid?

Wait & Braid | Dutch Braid Pigtails

What I'm Wearing: BLACK TOP, Forever 21 | BURGUNDY TOP, Primark | BEST BITCHES NECKLACE, Shop Moon Child | PENTAGRAM CHOKER, Shop Moon Child | LIPSTICK, MAC Verve.

Hey friends! Me and Leah have been on a short blogging break because all our motivation was gone... sad but true. But breaks do us all some good and now we're backing with a braiding post! You might think that these pictures where taken of Leah but it's actually me! Yes, I'm back blonde again. I thought it would never happen after dying my hair black seven months ago. I feel like me and Leah look like twins again, haha.

Leah braided my hair into two ducth pigtails. She always pancakes the braids so they look really thick and big. I love this style as it's great for when you want your hair off your face and if your hair needs washing. My hair feels a lot thicker now as I've been eating a lot of protein. I've also been treating my hair to regular hair masks to keep my hair in good condition. My hair looks brassy but that's because my hair was only dyed on Saturday. You will never understand how happy I am to be a blonde again :) I am kinda missing my pink hair though!

OOTD & Wait & Braid | Galaxy Tie Dye Dress and 90s/Grungy Side Pony

What I'm Wearing: DRESS, Urban Outfitters | DENIM JACKET, ASOS | BEST BITCHES BEST FRIENDS NECKLACE, Shop Moon Child | LIPSTICK, MAC Diva.

Is anyone else obsessed with the 90's style? because I know I am! Recently, I have been trying out more hairstyles and I had to look for some inspiration. Youtube is always amazing for hair tutorials and I found some really gorgeous and unique 90's hair styles. Some of them are classic 90's (think little cute buns and half up-half down hairstyles) but other hair styles are a little more modern. This hairstyle that I'm wearing in this post is the perfect balance of mordern and 90's. It's an easy but impressive side pony! Because it's not just a side pony, I've done two little plaits in the pony tail. I think the braids really thicken the ponytail up and it looks so grungy and messy. This hair style that is definitely going to become a favourite. Look how cute it is too!

I think this dress is nineties too. It's velvet and tye dye. I'm wearing my all time favourite jacket too. Denim jackets are always a winner! I literally haven't been able to take this jacket off since buying it!

Do you love the 90's style?

Pink Hair, Don't Care! | A Certain Shade Of Pink

Everyone has been dying their hair pink, purple and even green. Me and Leah have wanted to dye our pink for years but to be honest, it was a little scary haha. I've had many hair disasters and I didn't want to ruin my hair after spending a lot of money getting it dyed blonde again. I was getting quite bored with my hair colour though so I thought why shouldn't I experiment with my hair? If you can't dye your hair pink now when can  you?
We used Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour XXL Ultra Brights 93 Shocking Pink. I didn't take a picture of the box because my mum came home from with the dye and I just couldn't even wait to see what it looked like. The dye is semi-permanent and washes out in 28 washes so I wasn't too nervous if it went wrong.
I wanted vibrant pink streaks so I just put the dye straight onto my hair. My mum done my hair for me but it was such an easy process and I literally couldn't wait to see it! I couldn't be happier with how it looks. I was nervous as my hair streaked anyway so I thought the pink might look dull but it looks so vibrant. This dye has completly transformed my hair and now I never want the pink to wash out! I won't get too upset though as I might put red or purple streaks in my hair next!
The great thing about Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour XXL Ultra Brights is that it is so versatile! Leah has very light blonde hair so she wanted the on trend pastel pink look. We just mixed conditioner into the dye until it was a pastel pink and then applied it to the hair. It didn't take long at all. The pink is a lot more pinker than Leah would've wanted but now she loves it! I think her hair looks so beautiful and such a gorgeous colour. Leah had all of her hair dyed in the pink and it hasn't gone patchy at all. I love that you can either get a full head, streaks or a dip dye.

What do you think? I love our hair this colour and I love how you can achieve different shades of pink and intensity. It's such an easy process and it's always fun to experiment with your hair. I actually don't want this colour to wash out, haha.

Would you every use Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour XXL Ultra Brights range?

Wait & Braid | Middle French Braid

I've recently discovered a new hairstyle that is amazing for getting your fringe off your face while looking really pretty too! It's called the Middle French Braid - well, that's what I've decided to name it! At the moment I'm loving french braids. I never know if I prefer french or dutch braids better but I  I think french braids look really creative although they are really simple to do. Plus, there are so many hairstyles you can come up with with just a french braid! For instance, you could do this Middle French Braid and tie the rest of your hair up in a messy bun or ponytail to create a different style! Braids make any style look way better, I think so anyway!

If you're not too sure on how to braid, there are loads of tutorials on youtube to look at! I love watching braiding videos :)

What do you think of this style? I'd love to know! Have you got any different go-to hairstyles that are simple to do?

BLEACH London | Reincarnation Mask

Dull, dry and brittle hair can definitely make a girl feel down about herself. My hair has been in awful condition lately and my hair colour doesn't help at all. The problems with being a blonde is endless! Not to mention my hair has been falling out like crazy :( So I decided to find a new hair mask to treat myself and most importantly, treat my hair!

Bleach London is a brand that didn't impress me first time around. I've tried out one product before from there which was the purple shampoo for blonde hair and although it did lift brassiness, it left my hair super dry! I decided to give them another go though and after reading RAVE reviews on the Reincarnation Mask I knew I had to try this out!

''Resurrect and hydrate thirsty, bleached or coloured hair and improve elasticity with this repairing and moisturising Bleach Reincarnation Mask. Enriched with sunflower seed extract and micro wheat proteins to give great shine, strengthen colour vibrancy and help reduce colour fade.''

Sounds amazing doesn't it? I put it to the test and I am absolutely blown away! I left this mask on for over 20 minutes and I really liked the smell of it and the results are just what I had hoped for! My hair has never felt as soft, silky and it's really shiny aswell! I can't even remember the last time my hair even looked shiny! It feels so healthy and like it's never even had dye on it before - yes, it's that good. My hair doesn't feel greasy at all and doesn't feel weighed down with product either! This is hands down the best mask I have ever used and frankly, a life saver. Not to mention, my hair colour looks so much better.

For £6, the bottle is quite big and is such a bargain! I've used way more expensive masks than this one and not had results anywhere near as good as this.

I urge everyone to buy this mask. It really feels like it's brought my hair back to life!

Things That Have Made Me Happy Recently | Getting Our Hair Dyed!

We both got our hair dyed last Monday and I finally feel like my hair is looking lighter after dying it black a few months ago (my biggest mistake ever!!) I'm gradually getting my hair dyed blonde again and I've had a few more highlights put through it. I love that feeling of freshly dyed hair with no roots. I finally feel like me again. Going over to the dark side wasn't me so I really love getting my hair lighter. The condition is awful though. It's so knotty and dry but I think a few deep conditioning hair masks will do the trick :)

Leah's gorgeous hair is looking so stunning. I'm so jealous. It's still got a few brassy/ginger bits in still after a small hair disaster a couple of months ago (we're not lucky with hair dying, haha) but thankfully we are really pleased!

Apart from getting our hair dyed we also spent our 18th birthday money on buying a new guitar and bass so we've been practising a lot :) and we're going to a drum lesson on tomorrow! Oh my God, so scared but hopefully worth it!

Hope you all have a lovely week!

Dumb Blonde | TiGi Bed Head Dumb Blonde Shampoo

As a girl that loves buying new hair products I couldn't wait to try out TiGi's Dumb Blonde shampoo. Being blonde means you've got to deal with brassiness, dullness and the dreaded dry hair that comes along with bleaching but thankfully there are so many top quality blonde shampoo's out there. Damaged hair kind of takes the beauty out of any hair colour so I'm always on the hunt for the perfect blonde shampoo.

I'm just going to get to the point and say that this is one of the best shampoo's I've ever used. Full stop! It's so thick in consistency and at first I actually thought I was using a conditioner as it was that thick! It didn't lather up as much as I'd of liked but this is because there is no chemicals and unwanted sillicones. It's ultra moisturing which is what us blondies need and feels like it's quenching the dry and lifeless hair. It says it's a reconstructor and full of protein for the hair and I can definately see the difference! The colour is a slight purple/pink and it doesn't turn my hair that purplish blonde like some blonde shampoo's.

This shampoo leaves my hair tangle free, super clean and revitalised. Dumb Blond completely banishes yellow/brassy hair and obviously I couldn't be happier. For days after washing my hair my colour still looks really fresh and light! Which is rare as blonde hair does dull down a lot. I know that I'll be using this for a long time although it's on the pricey side. The bottle is absolutley massive and you get your money's worth for sure. I'd recommend this to everyone with blonde hair.

Wait and Braid | Side French Braid & New Hair

I finally feel like I'm on the road to being a blonde again! These past few months I've had a love/hate (mostly hate) relationship with my hair. I decided to go darker in the summer so I booked an appointment with the hairdresser. The hairdresser then dyed my hair this awful red colour that I just hated! I then put a L'Oreal black casting on it(!) I immediately hated it even more. I had a few days that I decided that I could live with my darker hair but then other days I just completly broke down over it. I have very very very low self esteem and my hair means everything to me. I just felt so bad about myself with my hair being so dark. I just didn't feel like me anymore so I decided to go back blonde again.  Over the weeks, I've been stripping my hair with a JoBaz colour remover. JoBaz is amazing! I'd recommend it to anyone that wants to remove unwanted hair colours/colour build up without damaging your hair as it has no bleach or ammonia. I used it two times and the black casting was suprisingly coming out easy. I then washed my hair with Vosene shampoo which has dried out my hair a lot but I can get the condition back with coconut oil hair masks. After all of the stripping my hair was back to a chestnut/reddish colour that I didn't really like but at least it didn't wash me out as much as my black hair did.

My hair dresser is slowly highlighting my hair back blonde so I don't damage my hair too much. My hair is now a brownish colour with blonde streaks. The streaks do look brassy right now as I have only just gotten it dyed. I am so happy with my new hair and I can't even wait for next month as I'm getting my hair dyed again but with even more blonde streaks - I'll (nearly) be a blondie again! My braid is a gorgeous side French braid which is gorgeous and so easy to do. With my hair being lighter again we'll be posting more braiding posts as we've missed doing them!

What do you all think of my new hair?  Do you like the side French braid?
