Wait and Braid | Double French Braids

This hairstyle was inspired by an amazing braiding/hairstyle blog called, Hair Romance! It's based on an Games of Thrones hair style. I haven't watched this but from what I can see the show has some amazing hairstyles in it! (hair envy)! I love this style as it is perfect for getting your hair off your face along with you hair looking creative and beautiful. The style is really simple as this braid is called the French braid which is so easy to do once you've got the hang of it. I recently learnt how to braid and French was the first braid I learnt! All you've got to do is braid each section of hair OVER the middle while adding sections of hair to the outer strands. I've already done so many styles with this braid. That's another reason why I love French braids, they're just so versatile!

I'm still obsessed with exploring new hairstyles but think this double braid is my favourite... so far! There are so many hairstyles out there that I still want to try. Keep watching for more posts coming soon!

What do you think of this style?
Lots of love, Rachel x

Wait and Braid | Lace Braid

Seeing as me and Rachel have become obsessed with braiding we've decided to add a little feature on our blog call Wait and Braid! This is just something were we post our latest hairstyles and braids. I really love the name too so I thought it was a great idea. I hope you all enjoy our braiding posts as much as I love them. I mean it when I say I'm obsessed with braiding. I think doing different braids each day inspire me to experiment with my overall look and style. Plus, a good plait makes me feel like I've actually done something useful with my hair!

Onto the braid. This is a lace braid I done in Rachel's hair on Friday. I love doing braids in Rach's hair since she got it dyed darker because the condition is beautiful, like pure silk! I think you can see how well conditioned it is in these photographs.

A Lace braid is just a french or dutch braid but your only adding hair into the top section of hair. Hopefully with more practise I'll be able to do more styles with the Lace braid but I think this look is already beautiful and different. It's not hard to style either!
