Dumb Blonde | TiGi Bed Head Dumb Blonde Shampoo

As a girl that loves buying new hair products I couldn't wait to try out TiGi's Dumb Blonde shampoo. Being blonde means you've got to deal with brassiness, dullness and the dreaded dry hair that comes along with bleaching but thankfully there are so many top quality blonde shampoo's out there. Damaged hair kind of takes the beauty out of any hair colour so I'm always on the hunt for the perfect blonde shampoo.

I'm just going to get to the point and say that this is one of the best shampoo's I've ever used. Full stop! It's so thick in consistency and at first I actually thought I was using a conditioner as it was that thick! It didn't lather up as much as I'd of liked but this is because there is no chemicals and unwanted sillicones. It's ultra moisturing which is what us blondies need and feels like it's quenching the dry and lifeless hair. It says it's a reconstructor and full of protein for the hair and I can definately see the difference! The colour is a slight purple/pink and it doesn't turn my hair that purplish blonde like some blonde shampoo's.

This shampoo leaves my hair tangle free, super clean and revitalised. Dumb Blond completely banishes yellow/brassy hair and obviously I couldn't be happier. For days after washing my hair my colour still looks really fresh and light! Which is rare as blonde hair does dull down a lot. I know that I'll be using this for a long time although it's on the pricey side. The bottle is absolutley massive and you get your money's worth for sure. I'd recommend this to everyone with blonde hair.

New Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Flavours!

This is very exciting news for any ice cream lover. New Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavours! The new festive ice cream to get us all in the Christmas spirit is cleverly named 'Joy to the Swirled' and the other newest flavour is called 'All or Nut-ting''! I always think the names of these ice creams are super cute. My favourite being 'Blondie Brownie'! We both had very high expectations and when we tried them out last Saturday, we loved them both!
I think out of the two my favourite was the All or Nut-ting flavour. It was something special! I've never tried a nut flavoured ice cream before but it was really lovely and the hazelnut core obviously complimented it wonderfully!
Who doesn't love Christmas themed food? I know the Joy for the Swirled ice cream will be really popular in my house on Christmas day! I love the simplicity of this one and the caramel and chocolate fudge is just dreamy right now!

Which ice cream do you think you'll like best?

Wait and Braid | Side French Braid & New Hair

I finally feel like I'm on the road to being a blonde again! These past few months I've had a love/hate (mostly hate) relationship with my hair. I decided to go darker in the summer so I booked an appointment with the hairdresser. The hairdresser then dyed my hair this awful red colour that I just hated! I then put a L'Oreal black casting on it(!) I immediately hated it even more. I had a few days that I decided that I could live with my darker hair but then other days I just completly broke down over it. I have very very very low self esteem and my hair means everything to me. I just felt so bad about myself with my hair being so dark. I just didn't feel like me anymore so I decided to go back blonde again.  Over the weeks, I've been stripping my hair with a JoBaz colour remover. JoBaz is amazing! I'd recommend it to anyone that wants to remove unwanted hair colours/colour build up without damaging your hair as it has no bleach or ammonia. I used it two times and the black casting was suprisingly coming out easy. I then washed my hair with Vosene shampoo which has dried out my hair a lot but I can get the condition back with coconut oil hair masks. After all of the stripping my hair was back to a chestnut/reddish colour that I didn't really like but at least it didn't wash me out as much as my black hair did.

My hair dresser is slowly highlighting my hair back blonde so I don't damage my hair too much. My hair is now a brownish colour with blonde streaks. The streaks do look brassy right now as I have only just gotten it dyed. I am so happy with my new hair and I can't even wait for next month as I'm getting my hair dyed again but with even more blonde streaks - I'll (nearly) be a blondie again! My braid is a gorgeous side French braid which is gorgeous and so easy to do. With my hair being lighter again we'll be posting more braiding posts as we've missed doing them!

What do you all think of my new hair?  Do you like the side French braid?

An Outfit for those Rainy Days

What I'm Wearing : JUMPER Forever 21, SHOES, River Island, SKIRT Boohoo, GLOVES H&M.

Is it just me or has it suddenly turned into Winter over night? I can't deal with the coldness anymore. It's Thursday today and that means one thing - Rachel is getting her hair dyed tonight! I'm really excited to see what it turns out like and of course so is Rach. Expect photographs soon!

Anyway, back to the post! Only yesterday I decided to treat myself to much needed jumpers and there is no better place for a good fluffy jumper than Forever 21! You must see the amazing jumpers in that place, they are seriously perfect and affortable too! I bought two new jumpers, the one in the photo's being one of them. Just as well too as it's been raining all day. Luckily, this has got to be one of the warmest jumpers I got. It's quite heavy, got a lovely patteren and I just love the shape of it too.

I worn the jumper with my good old burgundy shoes from River Island that I bought last year. I haven't taken them off recently, perfect for Autumn! And introducing this beautiful velvet skirt from Boohoo.com. I'm obsessed with velvet and this skirt is my new love.

What do you think about my new outfit?

Outfit Of The Day | Explicit Content

What I'm Wearing: JUMPER  H&M | SHOES, Primark | SKIRT, Vintage.

This is the first OOTD post in what feels like months! The weather is so cold month so I decided to buy yet another jumper. I've recently been buying all of my snuggly/cosy clothes from Forever 21 but this jumper is from one of my favourite shops ever, H&M! The main reason why I bought this jumper was because of the 'Parental Advisory' lable! I think this lable pretty much sums up my rock music taste, haha. The skirt is an old favourite that I discovered while searching around Ebay. So, this is a simple yet chic outfit which is becoming a fast favourite!

By the way, I just though I'd mention that I know I'm doing all the outfit posts recently but this is down to Rachel hating her darker hair colour. Thankfully, She's getting it dyed back blonde on Thursday so we'll be doing a hair post on that!  I think she looks gorgeous as always :)

I hope your all having a great November so far!

River Island Wishlist.

Above - VELVET TOP / PENDANT NECKLACE £4 / LEOPARD FUR COAT £100 / CUTE AND CREEPY TOP £10 / CHUNKY LACE UP BOOTS £38 /  KNEE HIGH BOOTS £95 / TINSEL MINI SKIRT £20 / FUR SLOUCH BAG £37 / FAUX FUR BIKER JACKET £65.

Oh, life is tough when you've got little money and all you want to do spend money on clothes! You may or not have noticed that we are both in love with the shop, River Island. We've been a massive fan of the shop for years now but lately River Island has been beating almost every other highstreet store out there. I must admit that H&M has also been really great these last couple of months. I've just arranged a little collage of my current faves in River Island at the moment. What do you think? I'm really loving the shoes and I'll probably be getting the boots in time for Christmas!

Autumn clothes have always been my favourite style but with Winter fast approaching, I've been really loving the fur coats that have been arriving in shops. I think I've fallen in love with the leather coat with the cute fur collar. A different twist on a leather coat is a winner in my eyes.

What's on your wishlist this month?

What's In My Bag?

I've seen a lot of bloggers do this kind of post for their blog so I thought I'd join in! Recently, I've been wearing my beautiful pale pink arm candy from River Island. I love this bag. I got this as a present for Christmas last year and I just adore it. I always have my beloved animal print purse around with me which was also from River Island (can you guess what my favourite clothes shop is?) I also got this purse last year and I haven't stopped using it since then, isn't it gorgeous?!

I always carry around a good lipstick and most recently I've been wearing my MAC mehr lipstick. I love this dusky pink matte lippie. You can't beat MAC lipsticks can you? I also love using Maybelline baby lips lipbalm. Some people find these balms drying but I personally love them. I have three other colours but I love this pink shade for a pop of colour. My other essentials that I carry around with me are my Marilyn Monroe compact mirror and my mobile phone. I also love using Lanolips hand cream. Hand cream is a must for me, especially during this time of year. The smell is just gorgeous too!

What do you carry around in your bag?
