Wait & Braid | French Braid Headband

We're back again with another Wait and Braid post! This one is a French braid in the style of a headband! I absolutely love this style and it really pulls the hair back off the face. It's perfect for those days when you really can't be bothered with your hair but you still want it to look good! I done a french braid and just pinned it underneath my hair to create the headband effect!  So it's really easy but beautiful too. There are so many variations of this hair style. If you prefer Dutch to French braids you could easily do that instead. I like to leave a little bit of my fringe on my face for a messier style.

Do you like this style?

PRIMARK | Blanket Scarf

What I'm Wearing: JUMPER, Tesco's | SCARF, Primark | SKORT, River Island | SHOES, Primark.

When it's Winter, sometimes the last thing you really want to do is go outside in the cold weather. This scarf has literally saved me from freezing to death. It's the best buy ever! Does anyone else have one of these blacket scarves? If not, you definitely should. I got mine from Primark for only £6 last Thursday and I basically haven't taken it off since! It's a different pattern from the ones I usually go for but I love the Tarten and the change in colours. Plus, there is another pattern on the other side of the scarf which is like a check pattern! I love it. It's going to be really versatile to wear with different outfits! I feel so warm and cosy in this scarf. It's really just like a massive comfort blanket! Yeah, this scarf makes me happy :) What's not to love? I feel like it keeps me happy when it's so cold outside and all I really want to do it stay in bed and wait for Christmas to come sooner, haha!

This is the first time I've ever worn this outfit together and I quite like the black and white skort with the jumper. I know you can't see the jumper in these photographs because of the scarf! I just wanted to persuade you all to buy one of these scarves! I promise you it will be one of the best winter purchases you make! Good old Primark to the rescue again!

Will you be getting a blanket scarf?

The Christmas Tag!

This is my first Christmas in the blogging world and I'd thought I'd join in with the Christmas tag! Also, thank you to Carolyn (x) for tagging us!

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
I usually watch the Christmas movies that are on t.v but I love watching Home Alone. I also love watching Bridget Jones and Harry Potter at this time of year.

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Always Christmas morning. I always get up really, really early just to open my presents as I'm just so excited! I still feel like a little kid on Christmas morning!

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
There are so many! I think every Christmas new memories are made. Nothing beats Christmas when your little though. I think my favourite memories are from when I was young and when I still believed in Santa. Oh, and Christmas mornings were always the best too!

4. Favourite festive food?
Roast dinner! I love them sooo much. Mince pies, chocolate selction boxes, the chocolate tins and just eating until I feel sick! Haha. I never liked Christmas pudding though. I wish I did but I just never have!

5. Favourite Christmas gift?
I love getting new clothes to wear on Christmas day and I always love getting little bits of expensive make up at Christmas too. I really like it when my Mum and Dad surprise me with something I had no idea about too!

6. Favourite Christmas scent?
Well, ever since I got Versace perfumes for Christmas two years ago they have always reminded me of Christmas. I'm actually getting Crystal Noir by Versace this year. They all smell so rich and stay on all day too.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Putting on a new pair of cosy pyjamas and slippers at night and just waiting for Christmas morning while watching all the festive programmes on T.V!

8. What tops your tree?
It used to be an Angel but now it's a sparkly silver star.

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
Hmm. This is a tough one! Probably a toy called Baby Wee Wee (don't ask)! But I probably ask for more expensive presents now that I can't afford. Like right now I really want a new guitar! A girl can dream... :)

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?
I absolutely love it when I first wake up and think ''oh my God! It's Christmas!'' but I love spending the day with my family and having a nice realxing time. I do also like going on a nice festive walk, all cosy in my hat and scarf and seeing all the Christmas lights at night.

I don't know about you but I'm feeling super festive right now! I can't wait for Christmas to come. I wish it would come quicker!

I tag anyone who would like to do these questions so if you would like to do this tag, please do! I'd love to see all your answers.

What's your favourite part of Christmas?

Urban Decay Bondage Adhesive & Goldmine Heavy Metal Loose Glitter | Review & Swatches

With the festive season coming up, I think Urban Decay's heavy metal loose glitters make the perfect eye look. I purchased the shade Goldmine which is a yellow/gold glitter. First of all, I added a thin layer of the bondage adhesive onto my eyelid. Next I start adding the glitter. I was actually dreading applying the glitter as it's a messy task. I took off the lid of glitter as I find it easier this way as the glitter doesn't get everywhere. I held a tissue underneath my eye so the excess glitter didn't fall onto my face (once the glitter is your face it just doesn't budge!)

As a glitteroholic, I couldn't be happier with the end result. The glitter sparkles and looks so eye catching. I don't think you could achieve a more sparkly eye than this one! The staying power is just amazing and I had hardly any drop out during the day. Overall, at £10 per pot the loose glitters are a  must have for all glitter addicts! Christmas is all about sparkles so this look is just perfect for the feastive season or any special occasion!

What do you think of the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Loose Glitters?

DIY: Feather Cuffs

What I'm Wearing: GILET, Primark | SHOES, Primark | Dress, AX Paris.

Hi everyone, this is our first outfit post of December! It's freezing cold outside so that's why I probably look like I'm in pain in these photographs, haha! I'm already getting quite festive as you can probably tell. I'm getting obsessed with glitter and sparkles. My black velvet sparkly dress was a present I got last Christmas and it is perfect for this time of year, don't you think? I absolutely love it and to top it all off it has a high neck to it.

However, there is something on my dress that wasn't there last year and that is the black faux fur cuffs on the sleeves! How cute is it? I'm not going to pretend that I got all creative and sewn this fur on myself because my lovely mum done it for me! I think it adds so much to the dress and makes it look so much more expensive. I can't remember the exact price of this dress but it was fairly cheap I think. I know I get loads of wear out of this in December. The fur was from Ebay and didn't take long at all to get sewn on. It was cheap and it's so soft! So if you'd like to be all orginal and spice your your own clothes, this is the perfect way to do it! Plus, it's really easy too!

Are you all looking forward to Christmas? I know I am!

November Favourites

November was full of new beauty finds especially when I found the Barry M glitter top coats in Masqurade and Starlight. These two polishes make the perfect manicures for the festive season! Masqurade has already appeared on the blog (see post here) and I'll be definetely making a post on Startlight soon!

I've recently re-discovered my love for Versace perfumes by wearing Yellow Diamonds. I'm not good at describing how perfumes smell but yellow diamonds is just beautiful. Versace seem to be the only perfumes that last all day too. I've been wearing this perfume all month and I can't wait to get Crystal Noir for Christmas!

I haven't bought much makeup this month as I've been trying to get through all of my 'old' makeup before Christmas. I did buy the Maybelline colour drama intense velvet lip liner in 'Berry Much' (see review here). I just had to get this shade as it makes the perfect autumal lip. The formula is just amazing and it's like a lipstick rather than a lip liner!

I discovered Too Faced last Christmas and I've been obsessed ever since, especially with the eye shadow palettes. I got 'Return Of The Sexy' for my Birthday and it's probably my most used eye shadow palette of this year.

Well, Novemeber is over for another year and now it's finally December! I'm already so excited for Christmas as it's my favourite time of year!

What were your November favourites?
