Before Christmas, I had run out of every single foundation I owned (this has never happened before!) so I had to use my old and forgotten bottle of Estee Lauder Double Wear. I am being serious when I say that Double Wear has got to be my least favourite foundation ever! The colour is absolutely terrible and I just don't like the consistency. Really disappointing for my first ever expensive foundation - never again! So, for Christmas I turned to the trusty highstreet foundations! Rimmel is my favourite brand for face make up products because the shades are personally perfect for me and I've had other foundation before from the brand. Rimmel's Match Perfection foundation was a new one to me though and I thought it was time I gave it a go!
I was absolutely blown away by this product and I'll keep on re-purchasing forever! This is the best foundation I've ever used. I honestly think everyone should get a bottle. I got the lightest shade of Match Perfection which is Porcelain. It's perfect for fairer skinned girls and the colour is perfect for me. It's probably the best foundation I've ever had for an accurate match for my skin. It's medium coverage and it doesn't feel heavy at all. I set it with Rimmel's Clear Complexion Transparent powder. Instead of rambling on about how much I love this foundation, below I've done a list of all the reasons why I absolutely adore Match Perfection:
Pros:
- The perfect colour.
- Blends beautifully and looks natural.
- Light weight.
- Looks flawless all day.
- Amazing staying power.
- Covers dark circles and blemishes.
- I think this would suit most skin types.
Cons:
- Those with oily skin types may need to use a little bit of powder though out the day.
At £6.99, this foundation is definately a beauty bargain and I think you should try this amazing product out for yourself. You definately won't regret it in the slightest!

DeleteI think I remember using this before but it left my skin looking very orange, just because my skins so pale :( I then handed it over to my mum as she has a slightly darker complexion to me and the shade matched perfectly, she always uses it :) X

Thank you for sharing this awesome review, been using Rimmel for a long time now but only tried the powder and Mascara, so far, the products serve me well. DeleteThat’s really interesting about the experience of expensive/drugstore products in this case. It certainly can be that way. I have liked all the Rimmel products I’ve purchased but I’ve only tried lip colours and mascaras.
