Wishing | Topshop Outfits On My Wish List

Ying Yang Print Tee | Lace Up Velvet Shoes | Flower and Ying and Yang Choker Set | Faux Fur Backpack | Velvet Mini Skirt | Claw Set Stone Ring | Long Faux Fur Gilet

Tophop is the most recent shop we've both been absolutely OBSESSING over! So what's better than to do a wishlist of all our current favourite clothes in store? These are the clothes we've been loving and if we had enough money we would definately be styling this like this!

First outfit is the Ying Yang print tee with a lovely burgundy velvet skirt. It was love at first sight. We'd both add a gilet over the top to make more cosy and oh yeah, we LOVE gilets this Winter! A velvet backpack and also velvet shoes would look absolutely gorgeous with this outfit. Plus, I think you can see we are both pretty in love with everything velvet. The Ying Yang choker would match nicely with the top and it also comes with a cute flower choker too! Obviously every outfit needs finishing touches and I love the ring. Topshop just do the most perfect jewellery.

High Neck Cut-Out Skater Dress | Velvet Mid-Heel Shoes | Feather Cardigan | Black Velvet Drop Charm Choker | Feather Bag | Diamante Tights

Second up is this gorgeous combo featuring lots more velvet! A velvet dress and velvet shoes? Oh my, this is just dreamy! The shoes are just something I've wanted for years and now they are in Topshop with my name written all over them! I thought the feather cardigan would go lovely over the dress to keep warm and make it more casual. The tights, bag and choker top this outfit off. Diamante tights are something I need in my life. I can't resist a choker either - especially this one from Topshop!

Faux Fur Polka Dot Coat | Pom Pom Velvet Slippers | Sparkle Velvet Playsuit | Feather Bag | Cup Chain and Tassel Neckwear set | Enamel Detail Studs

The faux fur polka dot coat may already be familar to you if you saw our recent blog post, A Day Out in Topshop. I just had to include it because have you ever seen such a beautiful coat with polka dots!? Definetly a winner in my eyes. The cute shoes are perfect - I don't think I can resist anything with fluff on! So I had to include the beautiful bag too which would go so nicely with the coat. The playsuit... no word for how beautiful it is! Velvet and sparkles? Yes please!

What's your favourite outfit out of these three beauties?

Wait and Braid | Half Halo Dutch Braid

This looks like one of the hardest braids out there because it looks so pretty! This is the Half Halo Dutch braid (how cute is the name?) and I know I say this every time I do a braiding post but this has got to be my favourite hairstyle at the moment. It's not hard either. It's just a Dutch braid. The outer strands go underneath the middle strand and this is what makes it a Ducth braid. I might do a picture step by step tutorial on this as I think every girl should know how to do this style!

Should I do a tutorial on this hairstyle?

Winter Walks

What I'm Wearing: FUR COAT, New Look | SHOES, Primark | SHORTS, River Island | GLOVES, H&M | Hat, River Island.

One of my favourite things about winter is taking long walks, especially in December when all the Christmas lights are up! As it's so cold outside I wore my beloved fur coat from New Look. I bought this coat about two years ago and I still love it. You can't beat a fur coat when it's cold outside! My skirt and hat are both from River Island and I got both in the sales! I couldn't believe I could these two items in the sales, especially the skirt. I love the baby pink colour of the beret and it goes perfectly with my skirt.

The last picture is of me and my little jackabee Heidi. This is the first time she's appeared on the blog! I absolutely love my little fur baby. She loves going on her walks so that's why she doesn't look to happy to stop for a picture, haha!

Manicure Monday | Barry M Masqurade

I am a self confessed nail polish addict and my favourite brand for nail polishes is Barry M. I've probably bought every shade of polish there is but while out shopping yesterday, I decided to treat myself. While Boots had a 3 for 2 offer on I couldn't resist and bought three polishes that caught my eye. The first is a top coat as I was in need of one. I really love this top coat as it's also a base coat. The finish is so glossy and almost gel like. After painting my nails with two coats of the black polish, I then finished with Masquerade. This polish is definitely my favourite of the bunch. Masquerade is a beautiful glitter polish and the glitter sparkles every colour. I think this manicure is perfect for the festive season. The glitter and sparkles will spice up any LBD!

What do you think of Barry M nail polishes? Are you a fan of glitter top coats?

Nail Art | Purple Ombre Inspired

As a nail art newbie, I've been looking for different nail designs and I came across this purple ombre inspired look. I've never heard of ombre nails before but I couldn't wait to try it out! This design is so easy to do. I painted my nails with Seventeen gel colour nail polish in 'Pretty Bang Bang'. After that, I got a makeup sponge and painted a line on the sponge with the same polish and then got my other darker polish which is Estee Lauder's 'Black Plum' and painted another line above. I then dab the sponge all over my nails and then that's it! Around your nails will look a little messy after this step but all you need is some nail polish remover.

This was my first attempt and I didn't think it would turn out as good as it has. I'm really loving this nail effect as the purple ombre looks so beautiful! I can't wait to experiement with other colours. I really want to do a red and black ombre look!

What do you think of the ombre nail art design?

A Day Out in Topshop

This is a different kind of post. Why not taking pictures while on a shopping spree? Today we went into Topshop. Topshop is a shop that I never really go into. I don't know why but we're more of a River Island kind of girls. With Christmas just around the corner, I couldn't wait to look at all of the party glamour Topshop has to offer this year!

The window display is full of party dresses that look perfect for Christmas parties. I'm a fur coat addict and as soon as I saw the adorable baby pink fur coat with black polka dots, I just needed to have it. It's definitely going on my Christmas list! Topshop do the best accessories a girl could ask for. The rings and bracelets are gorgeous but these necklaces that I picked up are so beautiful and they look so expensive!

Shoes. I'm obsessed with them lately. I've already bought my Christmas shoes from River Island but that didn't stop me from falling in love with these babies. The shoes are a gorgeous burgundy colour which is right on trend. Everything about these shoes are just perfect! How cute are the Christmas socks? I especially love the Christmas pudding socks, they'll go perfect with my Christmas pudding hat that I bought from Primark! (see post here)

So as you can see, Topshop has so amazing pieces. I can't wait to do my Christmas shopping to get my hands on the fur coat! I'll definitely be going into Topshop more often, even if my purse is begging me not too!

What is on you Topshop Wishlist?

Maybelline Colour Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencil In Shade Berry Much

This is my all time favourite lip pencil. Ever. We got the shade Nude Perfection back in September when Maybelline first released these beauties and we haven't stopped using it since. So with the cold weather well and truely here, we've been pulling on jumpers and boots and that's when I realised we didn't have a traditional berry lip colour for the colder months. We're one of those people that love makeup and when the season changes, so does our makeup! I actually have so much makeup that I probably do have many, many berry lipsticks but I'll come up with any excuse to buy a new lip shade!

This colour is named Berry Much (I love the name) and it's absolutely perfect! It's so dark and more purplish berry toned than a pinkish colour which is exactly what I'm after. Dreamy! I applied this to my lips and it's so pigmented! I knew the colour would be fantastic because even the Nude Perfection shade has great colour which is rare for a nude colour.

I think I actually prefer lip pencils these days as it actually stays put on my lips for hours without re-applying. What makes these lip pencils so lovely though is that they are non drying in the slightest, even in the winter months when my lips are more prone to getting chapped. It's a winner in my eyes. There are also many shades to choose from like classic reds, pink colours or my beloved Nude Perfection. I tend to wear the lip pencil alone but sometimes I add a lipstick on top and obviously the lippie stays on for hours! Sorry for not adding a photograph of this on my lips but it's quite hard to photograph your own lips, haha! I'm sure you'll see us wearing this in future blog posts though.

All of this and it's just £4.99! Great price as the product lasts for months. I'd recommend to everyone!

Will you be trying this new classic?

My Perfume Collection

This post is dedicated to my beloved perfume collection. I feel like an outfit isn't complete without a perfume on! Christmas is coming up so I thought this post might help those who don't know what scent to get this year. The perfumes in the pictures above are: Gucci Guilty, Marc Jacobs Daisy, Giorgio Armani Si, Dior Addict, Yves Saint Laurent Opium, Dior Miss Dior, Yves Saint Laurent Parisienne and finally a little sample of Elizabeth Arden's Red Door perfume.

My collection has a variety of scents. My favourite perfumes are vintage smelling scents like the YSL Opium, Red Door or Parisienne. I've bought Parisienne two times now as it's probably one of my favourite ever perfumes. I adore Parisienne, I think I'll always have it in my collection! Another favourite of mine is Gucci Guilty. I've had this perfume for six years now and I know I'll definitely repurchase once I've ran out. Giorgio Armani's Si is my newest perfume and I love how vintage and classy it smells. I think my next perfume will be Si Black as I love this one so much.

The fruity, floral smelling perfumes that I own are Dior Addict, Miss Dior and Marc Jacobs Daisy. I'm a huge Marc Jacobs fan and Daisy is a gorgeous perfume. I fell in love with the bottle as it's so beautiful. Dior Addict and Miss Dior are great scents too and I'm sure they'd make amazing Christmas gifts!

Do you own any of these perfumes? What perfumes are in your collection!

Christmas Hats and Getting Festive!

What I'm Wearing: Christmas Pudding hat, PRIMARK | Reindeer hat, PRIMARK.

This is our first ever Christmas post and what your seeing right now are our first ever Christmas hats! Yep, I've never had any Christmas themed clothes and I've kind of felt like I've missed out. These two festive beauties are from the amazing shop Primark. When I went into there on Monday I saw a the best collection of Christmas hats and honestly, I just wanted to buy them all! My mum then bought me and Rachel them the next day and I don't think you'll see me out of this during December. What other month could you get away with wearing a Christmas pudding or a red nosed reindeer on your hats? Next step, FESTIVE JUMPERS! Have you seen the light up ones? Maybe that's a step too far...

Are you getting in the festive spirit like me and Rachel?

Dumb Blonde | TiGi Bed Head Dumb Blonde Shampoo

As a girl that loves buying new hair products I couldn't wait to try out TiGi's Dumb Blonde shampoo. Being blonde means you've got to deal with brassiness, dullness and the dreaded dry hair that comes along with bleaching but thankfully there are so many top quality blonde shampoo's out there. Damaged hair kind of takes the beauty out of any hair colour so I'm always on the hunt for the perfect blonde shampoo.

I'm just going to get to the point and say that this is one of the best shampoo's I've ever used. Full stop! It's so thick in consistency and at first I actually thought I was using a conditioner as it was that thick! It didn't lather up as much as I'd of liked but this is because there is no chemicals and unwanted sillicones. It's ultra moisturing which is what us blondies need and feels like it's quenching the dry and lifeless hair. It says it's a reconstructor and full of protein for the hair and I can definately see the difference! The colour is a slight purple/pink and it doesn't turn my hair that purplish blonde like some blonde shampoo's.

This shampoo leaves my hair tangle free, super clean and revitalised. Dumb Blond completely banishes yellow/brassy hair and obviously I couldn't be happier. For days after washing my hair my colour still looks really fresh and light! Which is rare as blonde hair does dull down a lot. I know that I'll be using this for a long time although it's on the pricey side. The bottle is absolutley massive and you get your money's worth for sure. I'd recommend this to everyone with blonde hair.

Do you like TiGi products?

New Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Flavours!

This is very exciting news for any ice cream lover. New Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavours! The new festive ice cream to get us all in the Christmas spirit is cleverly named 'Joy to the Swirled' and the other newest flavour is called 'All or Nut-ting''! I always think the names of these ice creams are super cute. My favourite being 'Blondie Brownie'! We both had very high expectations and when we tried them out last Saturday, we loved them both!
I think out of the two my favourite was the All or Nut-ting flavour. It was something special! I've never tried a nut flavoured ice cream before but it was really lovely and the hazelnut core obviously complimented it wonderfully!
Who doesn't love Christmas themed food? I know the Joy for the Swirled ice cream will be really popular in my house on Christmas day! I love the simplicity of this one and the caramel and chocolate fudge is just dreamy right now!

Which ice cream do you think you'll like best?

Wait and Braid | Side French Braid & New Hair

I finally feel like I'm on the road to being a blonde again! These past few months I've had a love/hate (mostly hate) relationship with my hair. I decided to go darker in the summer so I booked an appointment with the hairdresser. The hairdresser then dyed my hair this awful red colour that I just hated! I then put a L'Oreal black casting on it(!) I immediately hated it even more. I had a few days that I decided that I could live with my darker hair but then other days I just completly broke down over it. I have very very very low self esteem and my hair means everything to me. I just felt so bad about myself with my hair being so dark. I just didn't feel like me anymore so I decided to go back blonde again.  Over the weeks, I've been stripping my hair with a JoBaz colour remover. JoBaz is amazing! I'd recommend it to anyone that wants to remove unwanted hair colours/colour build up without damaging your hair as it has no bleach or ammonia. I used it two times and the black casting was suprisingly coming out easy. I then washed my hair with Vosene shampoo which has dried out my hair a lot but I can get the condition back with coconut oil hair masks. After all of the stripping my hair was back to a chestnut/reddish colour that I didn't really like but at least it didn't wash me out as much as my black hair did.

My hair dresser is slowly highlighting my hair back blonde so I don't damage my hair too much. My hair is now a brownish colour with blonde streaks. The streaks do look brassy right now as I have only just gotten it dyed. I am so happy with my new hair and I can't even wait for next month as I'm getting my hair dyed again but with even more blonde streaks - I'll (nearly) be a blondie again! My braid is a gorgeous side French braid which is gorgeous and so easy to do. With my hair being lighter again we'll be posting more braiding posts as we've missed doing them!

What do you all think of my new hair?  Do you like the side French braid?
