Our Top 10 Tips On How To Relax

Life is pretty stressful, don't you agree? Suffering with depression and anxiety, I often forget how to relax. Relaxing is such a nice thing to do and I love nothing more than getting all cosy before bed and watching some T.V to calm down. Here are my top tips on how to relax!

  • Be kind to yourself. If you want to stay in all day and watch films, you should do that! Having a lazy day is perfectly fine.
  • Listen to your favourite music! Nothing helps me more than my favourite songs when I feel stressed.
  • Sit down and have your favourite drink. My favourite is Coffee. I swear I'm addicted! Having a hot drink always helps me relax.
  • Pamper nights! Need I say more? I love pampering by doing my nails my favourite shade of red, putting on a face mask and exfoliating to make my skin better!
  • Watching my favourite T.V shows always helps me feel so much better. I LOVE ''The Walking Dead'', ''The Following'' and ''Bates Motel''. Okay, might not be the most relaxing shows on at the moment but I'm obsessed.
  • Watching Youtube videos. I love watching hair video's especially! I've been watch 90's inspired hairstyles lately and really loving them.
  • Reading books and drawing always helps me feel peaceful. Reading before bed is just the best.
  • Lighting some scented candles. I can't remember the last time I lit a candle but oh well, it seems really relaxing to me haha!
  • Taking a short walk outside in the fresh air always clears my mind. I can't wait until Summer though. Short walks in the cold weather doesn't sound too appealing!
  • Pyjamas and cuddles with your pet. Nothing is better than a cuddle with a dog :)

I hoped you liked this post! What do you like to do to relax?

☽ Shop Moon Child | The Perfect Chokers A Girl Could Ask For ☾

The day we discovered Shop Moon Child was a very happy day. Moon Child sell all of my dream chokers, bracelets and earrings. I could literally buy everything off their website but for now I bought the Bones bracelet (£4.99), Cosmic chain choker (£4.99) and the pentagram tattoo choker (£4.99). I could've bought so much more but I'm so please with my first order from Shop Moon Child!
The Cosmic chain choker is a beautiful piece and I just had to get it as it was in the sale. The stone has a variety of colours including pinks, purples and greens. Needless to say, this is a gorgeous choker with a mystic vibe to it! I was so excited to see how this would look as I'm so used to wearing the tattoo chokers but I absolutely love how this looks and it goes perfectly with all of my outfits. I didn't take a picture of me wearing the Bones bracelet as it was quite hard to photograph but I'm so in love with it. It kinda remind me of when Daryl in 'The Walking Dead' wears the ears necklace but a different spin on it, haha!
Next but not least is the pentagram tattoo choker. I kind of have an obsession with pentagrams so I was made up when I saw this. Shop Moon Child's jewellery is just amazing. The two necklaces and bracelet I bought were quite cheap but amazing quality. None of the jewellery has snapped unlike all of my Topshop chokers.  All of the jewellery arrived in a cute little bag to keep it safe in and two cute sticks with Wednesday on them. A card also came with a discount on my next order which I will definitely use very soon!

I think everyone should have a look at Shop Moon Child because there is definitely something for everyone. I love whole vibe of this shop as it's alternative with a mystic gothy vibe. Dreamy.
What do you think of Moon Child's amazing jewellery?

Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick | Pamplemousse and Rouge Jetset.

Bourjois never let me down and their lipsticks are no exception! These two lipsticks are new shades from the collections Rouge Edition and Rouge Edition 12 hours. If you come on our blog often, I'm sure you will have noticed that we're both red lipstick fans (with the odd purple lippy here and there) so, we set out hearts on the shade Rouge Jetset the minute we saw it. But another shade caught our eye and it happened to be a peachy coral shade, Pamplemousse! Have you heard of Pamplemousse before? The lipstick was a firm favourite of Bourjois fans but was discontinued years ago! Pamplemousse has now been relaunched again by popular demand! So let's review the legendary Pamplemousse first!
Pamplemousse 12 hour lipstick is the perfect shade for Spring. It's a lovely bright coral shade but understated so it's looks  perfectly natural on the lips. It's seriously the best peachy lipstick a girl could ask for! It has a semi-matte finish and it really does last a long time. I'm not sure about 12 hours but it leaves a nice stain before the colour completely fades. I love the feel of the lipstick on my lips. It's not drying in the slightest but it's also not greasy too! Also, just one swipe of this lipstick and the colour is opaque.
I think Pamplemousse will continue to wow many people for a long time to come. It's beautiful and I think it will suit women of all ages. It's the perfect lipstick to wear with dark eyes.
Now onto my personal favourite, Rouge Jetset! This is hands down the brightest red lipstick I have ever worn! So not for the faint hearted. I might be really shy but I do love wearing bold lipsticks and this red is certainly bold - almost neon red! But what I love about this shade is that it is a true red. It's not orange at all despite it's brightness. This lipstick has all the fantastic qualities that Pamplemousse has. It's moisturising, comfortable on the lips and applies effortlessly. It does stay on for absolutely hours, so much so that it leaves a stain even when I've removed it! Another thing I must mention is the actual lipstick bullet is in a unique shape, sort of square so it's SO easy to apply.

I love these lipsticks and I haven't got a bad word to say about them. They are going to look extra gorgeous in the Spring and all the way into Summer too. I recommend these to everyone!

Would you buy these lipsticks from Bourjois?

Le Specs Collection | Ziggy Sunglasses

Can you believe it's almost April? I know I can't! Summer is only a few months away that only means one thing... choosing the perfect pair of sunglasses. I've always loved sunglasses but I've always found choosing the right pair hard because I can never find a pair that matched my style. So when Le Specs kindly sent us their Ziggy sunglasses, I couldn't be happier!

Le Spec Ziggy Sunglasses - £43 are my dream sunglasses and the ultimate summer fashion statement. Le Specs say  ''Not only is Ziggy affordable, it’s cool too. A retro round black silhouette sits within an ultra thin metal frame. Temple tips ensure a comfortable fit.''
I'd say these glasses are 90's inspired with a grunge vibe which is exactly what I was looking for. The large round frames are incredibly stylish and the grey lenses are perfect. These are seriously the darkest sunglasses that I have ever worn! So not only are these glasses gorgeous, they do the job! It was a really sunny day too when I was wearing the Ziggy glasses for the first time. The arms of the glasses are chic and finish of the glasses perfectly and really create a nice contrast to the black round frames.

I don't think I'll ever get another pair of sunglasses for as long as I have my Ziggy sunglasses in my life. They are super stylish, chic and do the job perfectly. When the sun comes out you will never see me without these glasses, haha.

You can find more amazing sunglasses here at Sunglasses shop and if you love the Ziggy glasses and want something similar there are more round glasses to choose from here! There is also a sale and 10% off for new customers so what are you waiting for?! For more Le Specs Sunglasses visit here.

Do you love Le Specs Ziggy Sunglasses or do you like the other glasses from Le Specs Collection?

Mini Boots Haul!

I don't think there is anything better than going into Boots and finding new makeup to try out (on a 3 for 2 offer). I am a self confessed makeup addict though! There have been many new makeup releases recently with Spring now in action and here are some of the things I bought yesterday.

Bourjois has always been a favourite brand of mine. These two lipsticks are in the shades 'Jet Set Rouge' and 'Pamplemousse'! They are two new additions to the range Rouge Edition 12 hour lipstick. I've tried other shades from the range before and been really impressed so I already knew these were going to be a good purchase! Me and Rachel have already got a review lined up for these lipsticks so I won't say too much about them in this post but I absolutely love Jet Set Rouge! It's a bright red while Pamplemousse is a coral pink.

How could I not buy the new Maybelline mascara? I've saw countless positive reviews and many bloggers comparing this highstreet mascara to the new Benefit Roller Lash! I've tried a sample of Roller Lash and found it incredible. The price of Benefit makeup is just too much so I'm hoping Maybelline's Lash Sensational lives up to my expectations. I'm always wanting to find cheaper alternatives! I love the packaging of this mascara and I can't wait to try it out. Again, we have a review coming up on this product too so keep your eyes peeled :)

Have you bought anything recently from Boots? What is your latest purchase?

Sugar & Spice | Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush And Contour Palette

I've never owned a blush palette before and I actually got this for my mum for Mother's day but she let me review it as she's so impressed with Makeup Revolution's Ultra Blush Palette - £6 that is perfect for highlighting and contouring too! I always love Makeup Revolution palettes as they're so cheap and high quality. The mirrored compact is always great for touch ups during the day too!
Sugar and Spice blush palette has eight beautiful shades that consist of matte and shimmery blushers, merged baked blusher and highlighter. Some of the blushers are popping pink and others are more muted which are perfect for contouring. I especially love the merged baked blush as it's so unique and kind of reminds me of Max Factor's new cream puff blushers. All shades are extremely pigmented - even the highlighter! They are so easy to blend and you can build it up if you want it really extreme. This really is the perfect contouring, blush and highligting palette and it only cost £6! This palette would make the perfect pop of colour for the spring and summer too.

I would definitely recommend this palette to all the highlighting and contouring junkies out there. The blushers are the perfect colours and look so beautiful once applied. They are so long lasting and pigmented. There is a shade for everyone in this palette and I think it would suit every skin tone. This is the first blush palette I've tried but I can tell I won't be searching for another one anytime soon.

What do you think of Makeup Revolution's Ultra Blush and Contour Palette?

Black and Pink!

WHAT I'M WEARING - GILET, boo hoo, PLAYSUIT, river island, SHOES, river island.

This is my first ever outfit post with pink hair and doesn't the pink look so much nicer against the all black outfit? I love wearing black but sometimes it could look a bit boring with plain old blonde hair. I'm going to dye my hair lavender next time but I'm willing to try any colour! I'm quite daring with my hair now, haha! Anyway, I love wearing my gilet from Boo Hoo and it's literally been my comfort blanket through Winter! It helps that it looks really stylish and goes with all my clothes too. The playsuit is a sparkly number that I got from River Island and I really should wear it more! This outfit has good memories seeing as I wore it to see Slipknot and Korn in January!

As always, I paired my  all black outfit with some good old necklaces that I couldn't be without. Does anyone else feel weird without their jewellery on? I feel like my outfit is incomplete without my rings/necklaces. My shoes are my favourite creepers. The most comfortable shoes EVER? I think so!

Have a nice day everyone,

Yves Rocher | Sérum Végétal Day And Night Cream Review

The star ingredient in these exclusive new facial serums is the super powerful mesembryanthemum crystallinum - otherwise known as the crystalline ice, or life plant!
When we received and e-mail to review Yves Rocher's new Serum Vegetal day and night creams, we jumped at the chance. To me, skin care is very important as I like to keep my skin moisterised and healthy so I couldn't wait to try out the smoothing day and night creams that targets wrinkles and enhances the skins natural radiance. It might sound weird that I'm using anti-wrinkle cream at 18 but it's better to prevent wrinkles, right?!

"Yves Rocher is France's no. 1 selling make-up and skincare brand, sold in 88 countries worldwide and used by 30 million women everyday."
We've both never used Yves Rocher before so we did have high expectations. Our samples came in a this little white bag which is perfect for keeping in the bathroom or anywhere you want.
The Smoothing Day Cream - Wrinkles & Radiance - £21* comes in a sturdy jar with a lot of product. The consistency of this cream is absolutely amazing! It's not heavy at all and really light and not sticky at all. We both have oily to combination skin so we were quite worried that this cream might irritate our skin but I think using this actually reduced oil and made my skin feel a lot more calmer and matte throughout the day! This day cream also makes the perfect base for makeup. I've only been using smoothing day cream for a few day and I can already say I'm more than in love with it. I can't say that it reduces wrinkles but it definitely makes my skin feel so smooth and hydrated. I would recommend this cream to everyone as already my skin has improved 100%!
The Smoothing Night Cream - Wrinkles & Radiance - £21* comes in the exact same packaging as the day cream. The consistency is a different to the day cream as this one is rich, thick and creamy. I could tell straight away that this was going to very moisterising which is what everyone wants in a good night cream. The cream absorbed into my skin straight away and it didn't feel heavy or sticky in the slightest. When I woke up, my skin looked like it had been transformed! I'm not joking when I say that the benefits of using the Yves Rocher creams are just amazing. Most night creams just feel like they're not benefiting my skin but this one is just amazing and does everything that you want and need a night cream to do.

PROS for both Smoothing Day & Night Creams:
  • Non-greasy
  • Moisterising
  • Hydrating
  • Doesn't irritate even sensitive skin
  • Smoothes
  • Only need a little bit so a little goes a long way
  • Natural ingredients

CONS  for both Smoothing Day & Night Creams:
  • It's quite expensive

Yves Rocher Serum Vegetal Day and Night Cream are pretty amazing! I'm actually disappointed in myself for not trying Yves Rocher products sooner. I feel so much better about my complexion since using the day and night creams. My skin feels moiserised, hydrated, smoother and it's a bonus knowing I'm preventing wrinkles too, haha. I would recommed these two creams to everyone as you won't look back. I can't see myself buying another skincare products from another brand for a long time. They might be expensive but you're certainly getting your moneys worth!

Have you tried Yves Rocher NEW Serum Vegetal Smoothing Day and Night Creams yet?

Happy Mothers Day Mum!

This is going to be a small post dedicated to our beauiful mum because it's Mothers Day! We want to say Happy Mothers day to the best mum in the whole wide world. Me and Rachel are best friends with our mum and there are no words to even describe how our mum helps us through the bad times. She always cheers us up when we're sad and is there when we're happy too! Mum is the most loving, caring person and beautiful inside and out! Even if she is annoying when we're watching The Following or The Walking Dead and keeps on screaming in horror, haha! But she is always there, no matter what! & needless to say, we both love her to bits! We'd be lost without mum and I hope she knows how much we love her!
Mum, Leah, Rachel on a boat trip too many years ago
Happy Mothers Day, Mum! P.s, I just want to say to anyone out there that doesn't have a close relationship with their mum or has lost their Mother, I hope you have a lovely day no matter what and celebrate yourself instead! :)

We know our mum will read this post as she is the biggest fan of our little blog!

The Playsuit And The Gilet

What I'm Wearing: PLAYSUIT, River Island | FAUX FUR GILET, River Island | BOOTS, River Island

I've been pretty obsessed with wearing gilets since October last year. The minute I saw this gilet on the River Island website, I just needed to have it in my life! I love everything about this as I don't usually wear white but I love how the brown fur mixes in with the white. This gilet is also the warmest thing I own and it's actually pretty heavy to wear, haha. It was £65 but I can't complain as I can see myself wearing this for years!
My playsuit is from River Island too and I couldn't believe I found this in the sale! The playsuit is everything that I love in life, velvet and lace and it was only £15! The detail is just beautiful. The pearl buttons are a beautiful touch and the lace sleeve detail is just my style! I think this gilet and the playsuit make the perfect combination! I'm also wearing my favourite boots. You literally wouldn't think I had about 10,000 other shoes underneath my bed!

Do you love wearing playsuits?

Pink Hair, Don't Care! | A Certain Shade Of Pink

Everyone has been dying their hair pink, purple and even green. Me and Leah have wanted to dye our pink for years but to be honest, it was a little scary haha. I've had many hair disasters and I didn't want to ruin my hair after spending a lot of money getting it dyed blonde again. I was getting quite bored with my hair colour though so I thought why shouldn't I experiment with my hair? If you can't dye your hair pink now when can  you?
We used Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour XXL Ultra Brights 93 Shocking Pink. I didn't take a picture of the box because my mum came home from with the dye and I just couldn't even wait to see what it looked like. The dye is semi-permanent and washes out in 28 washes so I wasn't too nervous if it went wrong.
I wanted vibrant pink streaks so I just put the dye straight onto my hair. My mum done my hair for me but it was such an easy process and I literally couldn't wait to see it! I couldn't be happier with how it looks. I was nervous as my hair streaked anyway so I thought the pink might look dull but it looks so vibrant. This dye has completly transformed my hair and now I never want the pink to wash out! I won't get too upset though as I might put red or purple streaks in my hair next!
The great thing about Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour XXL Ultra Brights is that it is so versatile! Leah has very light blonde hair so she wanted the on trend pastel pink look. We just mixed conditioner into the dye until it was a pastel pink and then applied it to the hair. It didn't take long at all. The pink is a lot more pinker than Leah would've wanted but now she loves it! I think her hair looks so beautiful and such a gorgeous colour. Leah had all of her hair dyed in the pink and it hasn't gone patchy at all. I love that you can either get a full head, streaks or a dip dye.

What do you think? I love our hair this colour and I love how you can achieve different shades of pink and intensity. It's such an easy process and it's always fun to experiment with your hair. I actually don't want this colour to wash out, haha.

Would you every use Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour XXL Ultra Brights range?

Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette Iconic 3 | Swatches & Review

Makeup Revolution is becoming one of my favourite makeup brands right now. The blogging world went crazy for Makeup Revolution and I'm sad that I've only just discovered there products now! I was so impressed with the Flawless palette that I went ahead and bought the Iconic 3 palette.

This palette was only £4 so I was worried incase the shadows weren't pigmented but as you can see all 12 shades are so pigmented and high quality! The palette has a mix of pearl, matte and shimmery shades so you can create so many beautiful looks with the iconic 3 palette. Many people say this palette is the perfect dupe for the Naked 3 palette and I definitely agree as the shades are so similar!

The brush that comes with the palette is completly useless but I can't really complain as I always use my Real Techniques brushes anyway. Even the white shadow is so pigmented and is a great highlighter. The shimmery shades are so beautiful and actually look shimmery instead of looking like glitter. I love the darker shades in this palette too as the blend so easily and can be built up. The quality of the eyeshadows are amazing as they stay on all day and the don't crease for hours.

I really love this palette and I've been using it everyday since I bought it last week. You can create so many eye looks with it so you can go subtle or dramatic. I literally cannot go wrong with this palette as it's such a steal at £4!

Do you think the Redemption Palette Iconic 3 makes a good dupe for the Naked 3 palette?
