Things That Have Made Me Happy This Week

YSL Black Opium perfume | Wearing Urban Decay ammo palette (yes, eyeshadows make me happy!) | Me & Leah taking pictures haha | Leah's Birthday shoes from Topshop | More nail art | Heidi cuddles | My ASOS shoes for my birthday!

Hey, everyone! We hope you all had a great week :) This week started with our older sister coming home from holiday. She gave me and Leah YSL's Black Opium perfume as a present and I can honestly say this is one of my favourite perfumes ever! We've got a review coming up later this week on it.

We've been shopping for our new birthday shoes and the minute we saw Leah's shoes in Topshop, she knew she had to have them and can you blame her?! They're gorgeous! My shoes are from ASOS and I think they're going to be great to wear during the summer.

We're both so excited for next Thursday (22nd January) because we're seeing Slipknot and Korn in concert. They're two of our all time favourite bands ever so if we don't blog from Friday onwards it means we've died from fangirling too hard, haha!

So this week has included many cuddles from Heidi, new shoes, more nail art and me and Leah messing around taking pictures :) How has your week been?

WAH LONDON Ultimate Nail Art Kit

Nail art is something that I love doing and I was so happy when I got the WAH LONDON ultimate nail art kit for Christmas. This is the perfect kit for a beginner like me and I couldn't wait to get started! This kit has the essential tools for the perfect nail art, including four nail art pens, a clean up brush, eight nail polishes, nail files and so much more. I'd never tried any WAH LONDON products before but I can see the hype around them. The polishes are so glossy and they don't chip at all. The nail art pens are are just as good as the polishes and they're so easy to use.

I was disappointed that a dotting tool didn't come in the kit but I was so pleased to see the tutorial booklet that was inside. The booklet has step by step tutorials on different nail art looks that you can try out! On New Year's Eve, Me and Leah created some nail art using the kit and it's we were so happy with how they turned out.

Overall, this kit is a bargain for any nail art beginner that can't wait to get started. The nail polishes are gorgeous colours and the kit comes packed with all the essential tools for the best nail art looks. The booket inside is full of great tutorials to get you started too. Thank you WAH LONDON for one of the best nail art kits around!

Do you like nail art? Have you tried anything from WAH LONDON before?

Nail Art | Purple Ombre Inspired

As a nail art newbie, I've been looking for different nail designs and I came across this purple ombre inspired look. I've never heard of ombre nails before but I couldn't wait to try it out! This design is so easy to do. I painted my nails with Seventeen gel colour nail polish in 'Pretty Bang Bang'. After that, I got a makeup sponge and painted a line on the sponge with the same polish and then got my other darker polish which is Estee Lauder's 'Black Plum' and painted another line above. I then dab the sponge all over my nails and then that's it! Around your nails will look a little messy after this step but all you need is some nail polish remover.

This was my first attempt and I didn't think it would turn out as good as it has. I'm really loving this nail effect as the purple ombre looks so beautiful! I can't wait to experiement with other colours. I really want to do a red and black ombre look!

What do you think of the ombre nail art design?
