Burgundy Velvet

What I'm Wearing: DRESS, Boohoo |SHOES, Topshop

If you've been reading our blog for awhile you will know that we're both obsessed with velvet clothes.This is a dress I got from Boohoo for only £6! & I had to get it too of course because I have too many black clothes! I couldn't believe the price of this dress though and when it finally came in the post, I was surprised by how great the quality was of it too. It's really lovely and light too wear, some velvet dresses can feel slightly heavy but this is just my favourite ever outfit - yeah, I have a lot of favourite outfits! I wore this on my 18th birthday as this dress was actually one of my birthday presents.
I love this red/burgundy colour. I don''t wear much colour but when I do it's always burgundy. Another thing I love about this dress is that it is a Bardot syle so it's actually meant to be worn with the top pulled around the shoulder but it's way to cold to do that just yet. I can't wait to wear all my clothes without my trusty long sleeved black top underneath!

These photographs make it look warm outside but it's still really freezing! I just wish it would turn Spring soon!
