Pink Hair, Don't Care! | A Certain Shade Of Pink

Everyone has been dying their hair pink, purple and even green. Me and Leah have wanted to dye our pink for years but to be honest, it was a little scary haha. I've had many hair disasters and I didn't want to ruin my hair after spending a lot of money getting it dyed blonde again. I was getting quite bored with my hair colour though so I thought why shouldn't I experiment with my hair? If you can't dye your hair pink now when can  you?
We used Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour XXL Ultra Brights 93 Shocking Pink. I didn't take a picture of the box because my mum came home from with the dye and I just couldn't even wait to see what it looked like. The dye is semi-permanent and washes out in 28 washes so I wasn't too nervous if it went wrong.
I wanted vibrant pink streaks so I just put the dye straight onto my hair. My mum done my hair for me but it was such an easy process and I literally couldn't wait to see it! I couldn't be happier with how it looks. I was nervous as my hair streaked anyway so I thought the pink might look dull but it looks so vibrant. This dye has completly transformed my hair and now I never want the pink to wash out! I won't get too upset though as I might put red or purple streaks in my hair next!
The great thing about Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour XXL Ultra Brights is that it is so versatile! Leah has very light blonde hair so she wanted the on trend pastel pink look. We just mixed conditioner into the dye until it was a pastel pink and then applied it to the hair. It didn't take long at all. The pink is a lot more pinker than Leah would've wanted but now she loves it! I think her hair looks so beautiful and such a gorgeous colour. Leah had all of her hair dyed in the pink and it hasn't gone patchy at all. I love that you can either get a full head, streaks or a dip dye.

What do you think? I love our hair this colour and I love how you can achieve different shades of pink and intensity. It's such an easy process and it's always fun to experiment with your hair. I actually don't want this colour to wash out, haha.

Would you every use Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour XXL Ultra Brights range?
Love Rachel, x

  9. The pink looks so good. I like how you've both gone for different styles. Rachel your streaks are such a cool take on streaks that were prominent in the 90s and Leah's shade looks like candyfloss!

  11. both pink versions look great...so bold you girls decided to do it, but you're right...if not now, than when? Besides, it's semi permanent which means you won't have to dye your hair again.

  56. I dyed my hair pastel pink last summer myself after wanting to do it for ages, and I haven't looked back since. I started with the lighest pink available (Manic Panics pink mixed with A LOT of conditioner), but has since dyed it more and more pink, blue, pink and purple at the same time, purple and now ombre pink/purple. After your first time you will get hooked and I garuantee that your hair will get both pink, blue and purple and Leah's will get even more pink, before going back to normal again! And enjoy your pink hair - You will find that girls with pink hair has more fun than blondes ;-)
And you look great by the way! Leah's hair are my favorite though
